Today I'm sending you Christmas greetings from the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog as we start a new week with our sponsor Dr. Digi, House of Stamps.
For my Design Team card I've selected Three Wise Men and here is my completed card.
I started by sizing this image to about 3 1/2" square and printed it on Neenah 110# cardstock. I love coloring with Copic markers and this was the perfect image for that - with large space and layers of clothing which allowed for lots of shading.
The Gina Marie Designs Studded Square die was perfect for the edge of the completed image. Next I started with a 5 x 7 Kraft card base and added a gold solid mat cut 1/4" smaller and secured to the base. I then cut the blue mat 1/4" smaller, but used the Tim Holtz Thinlets Festive Repeat die cut on the left end and added a white with gold snowflake print behind the blue before adding to the gold layer. Then I secured the three wise men as the top layer. I added three brass diamond shaped charms in the center holes of the mixed media die cut outs, then added the light brown organza bow to complete the card.
Thank you for stopping by today. I
