When Little Boys Explore

Today I'd like to share a great little boy card using Polka Dot Orchard's Explore & Conquer digi set. This set was designed by Jeanie Hays.  In this set you will find three image stamps, three sentiment stamps plus one image and sentiment combo.

Here's my finished card and I feel sure if you've raised a son, this is a familiar image.

To make this card, I printed the main image on Neenah 110# card stock and colored using my Copic markers.  I used a tiny screen stencil and Quick Quotes Blue Jean chalking inks around the colored image.  I die cut the edges using Gina Marie Designs Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.  I also used the same die on a matching solid blue paper to use as a matting.  I layered the mat and image on a coordinating green card base, then added the sentiment from the same package.  For the finishing touch I added a royal blue string with a frog charm.

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to click HERE to go over to Polka Dot Orchard to purchase this digi set and view many other items.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not JustScraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.
