Welcome to your next stop on the Catherine Pooler #spreadjoynotgerms blog hop! I'm so glad you are playing along and hope that you will choose to 'Follow' my blog while you are here.
Today I'll be sharing Find Your Own Rhythm, by designer Jeanie Hayes for Polka Dot Orchard. This digital package comes with one image and four sentiments.
Here's my completed card and then a few details.
Isn't this a beautiful image of the Pileated Woodpecker? We are very blessed to have several great artist at Polka Dot Orchard along with our wonderfully talented Design Team.
For my card I sized the image to make the tree as tall as the A2 size card front and printed on Neenah 110# card stock. I used my Copic markers for coloring and QuickKutz Nesting Frames 18 to die cut the image and the sentiment. I matted the sentiment with black and cut a red patterned paper to fit a card base that measured 4-1/2" x 6". I wrapped black twine from the center horizontally and knotted it on the left side/center. Then I glued the red mat to the card base, keeping the string in the center. Next I added the image, then the sentiment to the card base. I added additional black twine at this point going vertical and made my bow. For the finishing touch, I added three grey enamel dots at the bottom.
