And Until The End

Today I'm here to share with you another image from Createful Hearts Digi's & Designs. 

For my project card this month I selected Worn Out Truck and matched it up with Unity Stamps, Walk In the Woods background stamp.

Here's my completed card and then a few details. 

I sized the truck to an A2 size, then printed on Neenah 110# card stock.  I used my Copic markers for coloring (Listed below). Then on a 8 1/2 x 6 piece of Neenah, I stamped the Unity Stamp background stamp, trimmed close to the image, and colored it with Copic markers also.

I cut the truck out really close, not leaving any white showing.  The image actually comes with a shadow drawn under the truck, but I removed that also in order to get the shadows in the direction  needed for this card. 

I glued the truck to the background first after determining the best spot for him to get the right dimension. I did trim about an inch or so off the top of the background image also.  Then I added a Hunter Green mat behind the images.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut into a tag shape.  I used some yellow-gold hemp twine from Stampin Up to circle the top of the card and also tied a bow. 

Next I added the Kraft card base which ended up being 5" x 6 3/4".  After everything was glued down securely, I added the shadow under the truck with my W3 Copic marker.  Lastly, I added clear glossy accents to the side window and the windshield, then set the card aside to dry.  I came back later and cut a 4 x 5 mat to go inside the card.
