It seems the 'feather', whether from a small bird, a soaring eagle, a strutting peacock or some other bird, has become a very popular symbol in the world of card making. It's versatility certainly tends to give us crafters a wide variety of uses
and our Bible scriptures can add even more options.
This card was made for Christian Ministry so I started with my scripture stamp from Psalm 91:4. I knew I had the right one when I pulled this peacock feather with the heart in the center!
God does cover us with His feathers and under His wings.
When God is in our heart, He is the center of our life.
How comforting to know and trust Him every day.

ReplyDeleteHi Pam! I absolutely LOVE this verse, and I can remember as a young teen when I first studied this verse in Sunday School..learning about His wings, pinions, feathers, etc. What an amazing thing to think of His physical form when we finally see Him. It's going to be unimaginable experience. What a joy to think about!!! Thanks for sharing your awesome card in our challenge, Pa,. It's so mice to have you play along with us. Have a blessed week, and I hope you'll stop by again soon.
