What's On Your Work Desk

Over the past year, I've enjoyed many of the blog postings by Ginny at Maxum Made Studio, two of which have especially peaked my interest to follow.
This week I'm making my first submission to
What's On Your Work Desk through Julia at Stamping Ground.

I often wonder if we are similar in no matter how large our desks and work areas are, we end up in an 8 x 8 working space!
The card I'm working on today is for a challenge using a doily.  I decided to incorporate one of my Julie Nutting Paper Dolls, Candie, into this over sized card.

After coloring using Copic markers, I then  stamped and cut the dress out of heart paper.  I trimmed a doily to make her skirt and
also added small pieces to her sleeves.
Of course ever doll needs pearls!
I didn't want a distracting background for her, so a couple of Spellbinders Garden Weave dies
and a sentiment made her complete.
Life does give us many reasons to smile.

Thank you for visiting my blog ~ Pam

  4. I love getting peeks at other crafters' work spaces. They always look so cozy, like I would feel at home there. You're so right about getting down to such a small space, why do we do that? Love your girl, and I'll be using your idea of the doily, wonderful!
